Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11:39PM Quit dicking around to my iPad and get some work done.
Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 07:53PM What did I learn over all?
1. Typing on the iPad is best done with one hand.
2. Taking notes on the iPad may really be doable. I would like more test cases but I sat in on several lectures and took pretty good notes. Wish I had I could write and draw at the same time. There must be an app for that.
3. I spend a lot of time at home and work so connection isn't a problem. However breaking that routine makes me want a 3G REAL bad.
4. Adding multitasking to this OS is essential.
5. I missed my laptop for 1 reason, coding. I might have to carry 2 devices ... Bleh!
Overall I feel like the iPad is a productive device.

Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 06:20AM So I have to travel to SF for work this week. I decided to leave my Macbook at home to see if I can live on a iPad. I will be making a few quick blog posts with noted pros and cons. If I am feeling real adventurous I will try "remoting" into my computer and coding.
Pro: Light weight and extremely portable
Con: 1) Hunt and peck typing.
2) No native Square Space client yet.
